I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at École d’Actuariat, Université Laval (Québec, Canada). I received my PhD in Mathematics and Modelling from Université de Montpellier (Montpellier, France) in October 2025, after conducting my research at UMR MISTEA - INRAE. Research interests

My research lies at the interface of control theory, dynamical systems, and mathematical modelling, with a focus on decision-making in biological and environmental systems under constraints and uncertainty. I am interested in models that possess a clear physical or biological meaning while remaining suitable for mathematical analysis and interpretable control results. My aim is to connect concrete questions, modelling, analysis, and numerical exploration to understand when and how to intervene in evolving systems and balance performance, resource use, and robustness.

Research overview

PhD work

During my PhD, I studied decision support for crop irrigation under limited water resources and weather uncertainty. I combined optimal control analysis and numerical exploration through a double modelling approach linking a reduced conceptual model to the operational simulation tool Optirrig. This framework was used to characterize theoretical yet interpretable irrigation strategies under state and operational constraints to support practical decisions.

Current research

My current work develops stochastic optimal control methods for constrained systems with jumps, with applications to insurance, agriculture, epidemiology, and resource management. More broadly, it extends my research to the analysis and control of dynamical systems evolving under uncertainty.
